The BrightList Awards return this May after a two-year hiatus, with an intimate VIP celebration dinner. This invite-only event will celebrate the achievements of women over the past 12 months and the winners of each award will be announced.

Celebrating visionary women of all ages and stages, the BrightList Awards inspire sisterhood through action.

BrightList Terms & Conditions for Applicants 
The competition is open to all individuals based in the UK who identify as a woman or non-binary and professional experience spans before May 2022. 
Entries will only be accepted on the official entry form with supporting documents (if needed). Written entries must be no longer than 500 words.  
Each category will recognise one winner and two runners up.
The cost of entry is free of charge, although a completed entry form plus supporting evidence must be completed.  
A sponsor cannot enter an award in the category that they are sponsoring.
The comments made on your application form should be accurate to the best of your knowledge.
The first round of judging will be undertaken by AllBright before handing finalists over to the judging panel.
The Judges will be representatives from each of the sponsors and guest judges, who are well respected experts in their field.
The Judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence, reconsideration or appeal will be entered into.
Scores across all categories will be determined by the entry form and supporting evidence submitted.
Due to the number of entries received, Judges cannot provide individual feedback on applications.

Entrants must be available for consultation with the Judges should the need arise.
By entering the awards, you agree to partake in publicity of the awards, including the use of any images taken.
Should a category not receive sufficient quality entries, it will be withdrawn from the Awards Ceremony.
Entry is completed solely on your application form, there will be no site visits.
Entries will close on 10th of April at 8pm.  
We reserve the right to extend the deadline.
A minimum of 1 representative will be required to attend the BrightList Awards Ceremony.
Please note that due to the nature of the Awards Ceremony, those under the age of 18 will not be able to attend.
The BrightList Awards Ceremony takes place on 16th May 2023 at The AllBright Mayfair.

Their story has been turned into the Netflix film The Swimmers. In 2018, serious criminal accusations, including aiding and abetting smuggling, were brought against her. She has been awaiting trial to prove her innocence.

Nuthana is a children’s doctor working in the NHS. Alongside her very busy and demanding clinical work, she volunteers her time for several causes, one of which is the Medical Women’s Federation (MWF), the largest body of women doctors in the UK. In April 2021, Nuthana was elected Vice President, the first junior doctor to have this office in the 104 year history of the organisation and in February 2022, she launched The Medical Women Podcast, the world’s first podcast aimed at supporting and empowering medical women in their careers, from medical students right through to retired doctors.

Jennifer is passionate about representation, religious diversity and Inclusion. After a 10 year career at the NHS working with diverse and vulnerable communities, Jennifer decided to step away and focus on what she care about the most - changing the narrative of the Muslim business woman, and it was in 2017 whilst 6 months pregnant that Jennifer setup “Sisters in Business” as a reaction to her feeling lonely and isolated after a business venture of hers failed. She wanted to connect with women who understood her faith as well as the reality of business, and as a result, created a strong female network within the community.

Victoria is a designer and disability advocate, widely recognised as a leading voice and expert in adaptive and inclusive fashion around the world via her brand Unhidden. She wrote a book called ‘The Little Book of Ableism’ in 2021, did a TedX talk in April 2022 and has been awarded 3rd place in the Shaw Trust #DisabilityPower100. With multiple media appearances including a pitch on Dragons Den, she believes passionately in normalising inclusive design.
